David Whitfield served as a Forces Defender in the U.S. Air Force from 1988 to 1998, including during the Gulf War, with assignments in the U.S., Japan, Korea, and the United Arab Emirates. After his military service, he transitioned into supporting the business community as a Business and Success Coach. David holds both military and civilian leadership certifications, along with a T.A.B. Facilitator certification. In 2024, he founded H.E.R.O. After being honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant, he relocated to Germany, where he worked for two years as a civilian Army Emergency Relief Officer. Upon returning to the U.S., he collaborated with businesses and corporations to establish veteran hiring benefits. Not long after, he was recognized by the Department of Veterans Affairs as an Accredited Claims Agent, a role he has held for nearly 15 years. Mr. Wardell is a co-owner of Veteran Care Advisors and oversees all long-term care and claims operations for clients who express the desire for help from VCA.
